redemption!

so i feel like this election will be one of those events thought of as formative in U.S. history. but the fact that the margin is so small. but i have to just keep focused right now on the little battle we have won. actually big battle. 

and it’s a perfect day. beautiful blue sky, mwah-mazing temperature, bright but not overwhelming sun. perfect. except my hammock came down. put it up. came down again. the bump on my skull has a bump on it and the hammock armature is getting a good rest on the deck. 

today is a little warmer than yesterday, but yesterday was beyond perfect. carey and i drove out to the shenandoah valley, hiked up the appalachian trail to the top of buzzard’s hill. astonishing weather. awesome waterfall. sensational day of decompression. a superlative day.

yesterday was a good day. today is a good good day. ding dong the witch is fired. oh, and here’s my piece in progress. looking pretty groovy.
